Costa Rica is the perfect destination for hikes mounted on spectacular nature reserves and beaches. On this trip, we will reach places that are hard to reach on a regular trip. We will experience the Caribbean culture in its full glory, combining various activities with the locals and a trip to Costa Rica’s spectacular nature reserves. A combination of extreme nature and local culture to its fullest exclusion.
Day 1 – San Jose
Upon landing in San Jose, our local representative will welcome you. After picking up the baggage you will transferred to nearby hotel for rest and preparation to start of the riding experience in Costa Rica.

Day 2 – San Jose-Manuel Antonio
After breakfast, drive through the mountains to Manuel Antonio, which is Costa Rica’s leading national park, a breathtaking blend of white beaches, turquoise sea in a rainforest accompanied by a wide variety of animals including monkeys, iguanas and more.
Upon arrival, we will embark on a fascinating cruise on the Damas Islands to watch and feed monkeys accompanied by local guide who “speaks” their language.

Day 3 – Manuel Antonio- Monte Verde
After breakfast, a spectacular field trip on the beaches of Manuel Antonio, Followed by a tour in Manuel Antonio Park which includes: beautiful beaches, mangroves, island chain, tropical forest and the unique structure of Punta Oba Cathedral. The park consists of four beaches each with special characteristics. Our professional guide who will explains the wide variety of butterflies, monkeys, raccoons and more.
From there, continue to the Santa Helena and Monte Verde area. Spectacular views of the Niqoia Bay and the region’s islands will accompany you on your way to a wooded area known as the “Green Mountain” (Monte Verde).

Day 4 – Monte Verde – Day at the Reserve.
This day will be dedicated to dirt road travel in the Monte Verde area to the heart of the cloud forest with the enjoyment of the region’s special charm. Then, take a walk in the woods, through which we will cross 6 different bridges that make up the park’s bridge system. Later, we will meet with the women of CASEM. , A project set up 10 years ago to help the women of the region advance their status and help their families and themselves towards financial independence. In the shop where they sell their handicrafts, we will hear their fascinating story, have lunch and participate in an art workshop.
Day 5 – – Monte Verde – Arenal
After breakfast, we will continue to the Arenal area in Alahuela district. The area has diverse and spectacular scenery. The Arenal Volcano is the main tourist site. The valleys are filled with natural vegetation, overflowing rivers, hot springs, lagoons, wildlife and national parks.
Upon arrival, enjoy the sweetest rainforest experience, with the ancient secrets of chocolate making. You will learn about the process from chocolate discovery in tropical America to its processing into the product we know today. On the two-hour tour we will learn all about it, the chocolate production processes and tastes of it. To end the day have time to enjoy the hot springs of Paradise. .

Day 6 – Arenal tour
After breakfast, a walking tour of the Arenal, which includes a hike for the Tokans to the spectacular viewpoint of the Arenal volcano, the lake and the hot springs.
We will then visit an authentic local farm near the city of Fortuna. We will learn about the traditional farming practices in Costa Rica. The farm itself is located in a beautiful pristine forest that naturally attracts many species of wingers and other animals. During this tour, we will observe the production of “guaru” a local drink produced from sugar cane. We will then continue to Khwanilma village, where locals live in a cooperative lifestyle, a kind of “kibbutz.” We will settle down in the local homes, have a shared dinner, observe and participate in the folk dances of the village children.

Day 7 – Culture and Nature in Arenal
After breakfast, we will get to know the way of life of the villagers and enjoy a traditional cooking class, then continue to our hotel in the heart of the cloud forest. On the way, will have a stop at an art workshop by artist Arian Herrera, who creates from existing materials such as plastic, tires, wood, sculptures and art objects in many colors expressing its natural surroundings after sunset we will have a night tour to the forest of clouds and watching the birds of the dead, tarantulas, spiders, crickets, lizards, frogs, hedgehogs, etc

Day 8 – Adventure in the cloud forest
After breakfast, we will have canyon experience in the cloud forest reserve climbing bridges hanging at varying heights in the forest. Later on the tour, we will reach Tarzan attraction from which we will descend to the river to its natural swimming pools and waterfall.
At the end of the attractions in the forest, take a spectacular field trip in the Las Roques area and advance towards the city of artists Sarchi for a short tour and souvenir purchase.

Day 9 – Irazo volcano
After breakfast, a dirt trip in the Irazo volcano and the Orosi Valley, with a view of the impressive Irozo Volcano (Costa Rica’s highest volcano – 3430 meters above sea level), awaits you. From its summit, the Pacific and Caribbean coasts can be seen together. From there we will continue to Casa del Soñador, where we will come to know the life of the popular Costa Rican sculptor Masonadio Casada known as the dream artist. Then we will visit the lush green valley of Orosi which is the first Spanish settlement site, from which we will continue to visit Carthage which was the capital of Costa Rica until 1824.

Day 10 – San Jose – Airport
After dinner, take a tour of San Jose.
At the end of the tour and according to the flight time transfer to the airport for our flight back.
