Description

This cultural excursion tour in Israel allows you to visit major religious historical sites in Israel and the form of settlement in the Negev and the Israeli desert. On this trip, we will also recognize major sites in Israel, their residents and unique way of life in the Negev Desert.

Israel Classic Tour Schedule

Day 1- welcome to Israel
After a long flight you will be landing in Ben Gurion Internacional airport. Our representative will meet you at the airport and give you a warm welcome.
We then take you to your nearby hotel in Tel Aviv.

Day 2 – Masada and Dead Sea
Morning after having breakfast, we will be on our way to Masada fortress. On our way we can observe the beauties of the Judean desert. At the end of our ride we reach the cable car station in Masada.
After the fascinating tour in Masada a short drive will lead us to one of the beautiful dead sea beaches. We will have time to swim and float in the lowest lake on earth.
An optional to have a jeep tour in the desert before reaching Dead Sea.
This day will end in hotel nearby Beer Sheva.

Day 3 – Negev friendly desert
This day we will have the opportunity to explore the Negev desert.
Morning after breakfast we head to Mitzpe Ramon located in the edge of the Ramon Crater. On the way we will have a visit to Sede Boker a kibutz in the Negev where the first prime minister of Israel, David Ben Gurion lived. We will learn about the way of living in a kibutz, unique way of living in Israel, located in the desert and observe the fascinating Zin valley. We continue to an ancient Nabatean city, Avdat . We explore the ruins of this ancient city and continue to Mitzpe Ramon. We will observe the fascinating crater from the cliff and learn about its formation at the Ramon observatory.
After lunch we have the opportunity to explore the desert in jeep tour, horse ride and camel ride.
For the adventurers among us we can have rappelling on the cliff of Ramon crater.
By the end of the day overnight by a nearby hotel. Optional to sleep in a local farm in the desert.

Day 4 – Negev friendly desert communities
This morning after having breakfast we start our day in the Negev exploring the bedouin way of living. Our first stop will be the bedouin museum, Jo Alon, where we will learn about the history of the bedouins. From there we will be hosted in a bedouin family house in the city of Rahat. This will be a good opportunity to hear from local bedouin people about the development and changes among the years the bedouins had. We will visit the local market and have local lunch.

Late afternoon we will visit a local jewish community living in the Negev nearby bedouin population. We will explore and learn about the history of the place, the development and will have typical dinner together.
Optional in the afternoon to visit a Kibutz nearby in the border of Israel with Gaza strip and hear about the way of living in this area.
Overnight in nearby hotel.

Day 5 – Jerusalem old city
This morning our tour will start in Armon Hanatziv promenade having an interesting point of view of Jerusalem. Then we continue to Mount of Olives having an impressing observation view of the old city of Jerusalem. Afterwards we start our descend through Mount of Olives visiting on our way the famous Dominus Flevit Church and the Church of Agony with its famous Gethsemane garden.
Once visiting the Mount of Olives we move on to Mount Zion visiting there the Dormicion Abbey, The Last Supper Room and crossing the Zion gate to the old city. We move on to the Jewish quarter untill reaching the Western Wall, on our way stop by the roman cardo. From there continue to the Christian quarter, the Via Dolorosa and ending our tour in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Our day in Jerusalem ends and we will be transferred, to our hotel for overnight.

Day 6 – Tel Aviv –Jaffa
After breakfast, we will head to visit Tel Aviv and Jaffa. The first stop will be at the old Jaffa port. Time to explore the colorful port and its sorroundings. After observing the fascinating coastline of Tel Aviv we will have a panoramic tour of Tel Aviv.
After lunch, you will have free time to tour the modern city of Tel Aviv and its magnificent coastline.
Overnight in a nearby hotel.

Day 7 – Till next time
Leisure in the morning and depending your departure time you will be transferd to the airport for your flight home.
