Description

On our unique trip we will focus on the pearl in the southern continent of the Tierra del Fuego area and the Patagonia area. We will tour the wild nature of southern Argentina, amid spectacular glaciers and the southernmost unique nature reserves of the Ushuaia world.

Routes and Schedule

Day 1 – Buenos Aires

Arrive in Argentina today and our local representative will give you a warm welcome to the tango land. After visa process you will be transferred to your nearby hotel. Depending your arrival time you will have free time to explore nearby sorroundings or relax in hotel.

Overnight in Buenos Aires.  

Day 2 – Ushuaia

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, a must-see Patagonia travel stop. Ushuaia is now most well-known, as the “Gateway to Antarctica.” From its dramatic setting between the Beagle Channel and the rugged glaciated peaks rising from the landscape, opportunities for hiking and exploring abound. The afternoon is free to wander local museums or explore nearby trails

Overnight in Ushuaia.

Day 3 -Martillo Island & Estancia Harberton

This morning you will meet your boat at the tourist dock in Ushuaia, the navigation goes along the Beagle Channel visiting the Sea Lions and Sea Birds Island. At noon, you will arrive to Estancia Harberton, and take there a short navigation to isla Martillo. By hiking the island, we will learn about habits of the penguins returning here each year. These species share the habitat with albatrosses, skuas, vultures, South American Terns and other birds. Done with the hike we will be back for lunch. In the afternoon, we will explore this historic place and finally drive back to our hotel.

Overnight in Argentina.

Day 4 Tierra del Fuego

After breakfast in hotel, we will head north to Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, Argentina’s first coastal national park. Here starts todays adventures combining hiking and climbing. Will hike through the forest around wonderfull beaches. Done hiking we will step into a double kayak sailing to uninhabited beaches and majestic places, just as the ancient Yamana tribe use to do thousands of years ago. The crystal-clear water runs into Laguna Verde, one of the most picturesque, panoramic spots in the park. Your take-out point is Lapataia Bay, where you may see petrels, albatross, steamer ducks, and on occasion, penguins. You’ll return to Ushuaia in the late afternoon.

Day 5 -El Calafate

Today you fly to the lively town of El Calafate. Overnight in El Calafate and have the evening free. Upon request, you might stay at night in a working sheep ranch experiencing the gaucho style.

Day 6 Perito Moreno Glacier Walk

Today you drive into Parque Nacional Los Glaciares for views of the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier. This huge advancing glacier is more than 3 miles wide at its front and over 20 stories high. Take a boat across Lago Argentino and pass the massive front wall of blue ice, all the while watching for icebergs. After landing on a small beach start hiking through the beech forest to the icepack of the glacier and have the opportunity to walk on the glacier with crampons. Having lunch by the lateral moraine of the glacier you will have some views you will have unforgettable views of the glacier and listen to the concerto of groaning and cracking ice dropping into the lake below.

Day 7 – Buenos Aires | Return Home

In appropriate time you, will be transferred for your flight back to Buenos Aires
