Day 1 – Tirana

Arrival at Tirana Airport. Transfer to the hotel in the city center.

Free evening and overnight in Tirana.

Day 2- Walking tour of Tirana

Today we explore the capital city. Tirana has a never-ending movement and energy. This metropolis city is worth discovering by day and night.

Founded in 1614, Tirana is now a developed city that combines culture, history, contemporary architecture, and hospitality. As you take a walk in Tirana you will enjoy the look of the colorful buildings, fancy coffees, and green parks. We walk by the main boulevard, visit the Skanderbeg Square newly reconstructed into a pedestrian zone, Mother Teresa Square, walk by the National Library and Historical Museum, Tabake Bridge, Piramida, and other interesting sites. Visit the old bazaar of the city (newly opened and reconstructed) an area with the traditional architecture of old houses style, local market, and many small bars in the pedestrian area. Entrance to the Bunk Art 2 Museum to learn about the communist history in Albania.

Free afternoon and overnight in Tirana.

Day 3- Full Day BERAT

Today we head towards a UNESCO town Berat, the pride of Albanian antiquity and architecture. Berat forms a wonderful combination of eastern and western cultures, costumes, and traditions. The architecture of the old houses, with large windows that overlook the town, is the first thing that impresses the visitors.

First stop: the Citadel. It overlooks the river and the modern city as well as the old Christian quarter across the river. The citadel can be reached by a steep road and is still inhabited. Further, we walk through the old town and by the river. Free time to have lunch in any of the local restaurants, before our return transfer to Tirana, where we come in the afternoon. Overnight.

Day 4- Return Flight

After breakfast and according to your flight schedule transport to Tirana airport for your flight back home.

 

The price of the package

199 euros per person (subject to the booking of at least 6 passengers).

3 nights in a central 4-star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. (Single in a double room).
An English-speaking private guide according to the tour plan.
Private transfers from the airport to the hotel and back (on the day of arrival and on the day of return).
