Day 1 – Arrival in Quito

Upon arrival in Ecuador and landing in Quito our local representative will welcome you.

Transfer to hotel in Quito.

Day 2 – Tour of Quito and the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a tour to the capital city, Quito and its surroundings. The spectacular city is over 2,800 meters above sea level with spectacular volcanoes. The city itself is a combination of modern and colonial areas. We will tour the old city and the main buildings. In the afternoon we will drive to the equatorial area known as Mitad del Mundo and take a famous photo standing on both sides of the equatorial line

Afternoon transfer to our hotel in Quito.

Day 3 – Cotopaxi Volcano

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart to the Cotopaxy Volcano Nature Reserve. This active volcano is one of the highest in the world. Upon arriving at the reserve, we will take a tour of the volcano’s footpath and we will observe the spectacular views that are unique to the area .we also might see some smoke outgoing from the volcano.

When the tour is completed transfer to our hotel in Quito.

Day 4 – The market in Otavalo

This morning we will head towards the town of Otavalo. On the way, we will visit the famous town of Kiyamba well known fot its the special biscuits.

Upon arrival at Otavalo. We will visit the local handicraft and crafts market famous all over South America. We will continue north to Ibarra a town specializing in special woodwork. We will spend the afternoon in the Cotacachi village specializing in leatherwork and view the lagoon near it at the foot of the volcano.

After an impressive day tour in this area north of Quito, we returned to our hotel.

Day 5 – Mindo Town

This day is dedicated for the nature lovers and bird lovers among us. The town of Mindo, which is about two hours drive north west of Quito, is a paradise for nature lovers. The town is in the heart of mountains and jungle and is an ideal spot for watching nature, birds and various animals. We will tour during the day the amazing nature reserve and after a few hours between bird waterfalls and butterflies we will return to our hotel in Quito.

Day-6,7,8,9- Galapagos Islands.

This morning we will take a flight to Balestra Island and upon arrival we will depart for the pier and start a cruise between the spectacular islands of the Galapagos. The islands themselves, made up of volcanic rocks and lava, are home to a variety of rare animals.it is not by coincidence that Charles Darwin has developed the theory of evolution here. During the visit we will tour several small islands and learn about the geological structure of the islands and the variety of existing animals.

Day 10 – Back

This day will be dedicated to the eastern region of the Galapagos Islands and the city of San Cristobal. After a short tour of the place and according to the flight time, we will take the flight back home.
